TVS Tangent RR Concept Makes a Stunning Debut at EICMA 2025
TVS Motor Company unveiled its most advanced concept bike yet, the Tangent RR Concept, at EICMA 2025 in Milan. The bike immediately grabbed attention and signals TVS’s readiness to enter the 450cc twin-cylinder segment.
The Tangent RR Concept features an aggressive, track-focused design. It comes with low-set clip-ons, aerodynamic winglets, and a sharp tail section, giving it a sporty and dynamic appearance. Premium components like USD front forks and Brembo radial brakes highlight its performance-oriented build. The monocoque-style rear subframe suggests that TVS may not treat this as just a design study but a production-ready machine.

450cc Twin Engine Promises More Power Than the RR 310
The Tangent RR Concept is expected to be powered by TVS’s new 450cc parallel-twin engine, co-developed with BMW Motorrad. This engine is likely to produce around 47–48 PS of power and 45 Nm of torque, a substantial jump over the single-cylinder Apache RR 310. This twin-cylinder platform could underpin multiple models across TVS, BMW, and Norton. Moving into the twin-cylinder category allows TVS to compete in the growing supersport segment against bikes like the Aprilia RS 457 and Kawasaki Ninja 500.
Premium Design and Build Quality
The Tangent RR Concept showcases TVS’s focus on high-quality design and performance. It features a lightweight aluminium swingarm, monocoque-style rear subframe, and sharply sculpted lines that reflect the brand’s racing DNA. The production version, likely to be named Apache RR 450 Twin, is expected to retain these design elements. Lessons from Norton and TVS’s racing experience should make its chassis both agile and stable at high speeds.

Modern Features and Rider Technology
The Apache RR 450 Twin is likely to offer multiple ride modes, traction control, and a TFT digital display that supports navigation, telemetry, and connectivity. With an estimated kerb weight of 175–180 kg, the bike should balance power and handling effectively. TVS’s one-make racing experience is expected to contribute to a sharp, track-capable ride.
TVS’s New Performance Chapter – Global Ambitions with Twin Engine
The Tangent RR Concept indicates that TVS is aiming beyond the Indian market. The company plans to strengthen its presence in the twin-cylinder supersport category internationally. Just as BMW prepares to launch its F 450 GS in India, TVS is expected to launch the Apache RR 450 Twin by 2026. This bike could elevate TVS’s premium sports lineup and set new standards in the Indian motorcycle industry.
