What is the SOAR Programme?
SOAR, which stands for Skilling for Opportunities, Access and Relevance, is a national-level initiative focused on equipping students with practical, hands-on knowledge in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and data literacy. The programme is not just about theoretical understanding—it’s about preparing young minds to thrive in a digital-first world.

According to NASSCOM, by 2027 India will need over 10 million professionals trained in AI and related technologies. Yet our current education system is not producing the volume or quality of tech-savvy students required. SOAR follows a modular structure, starting with simple AI concepts for middle schoolers (Classes 6–8) and progressively introducing advanced topics like neural networks, data science, and natural language processing in higher classes (9–12). It will be aligned with NEP 2020 and designed in collaboration with AICTE, NCERT, and industry experts.
Hands-on Learning Approach
